About Me
My name is Jen. I like to "live big" and experience life by going on fun adventures, training on the flying trapeze, and eating as much Mexican food as possible, but I’m most passionate about writing and reading. In the summer of 2011 I felt a strong call to connect with other writers and encourage them to hone their voice, helping them to free their stories from some of the most common errors we make when writing. Thus, This Little Light was born. It’s now a blog full of writing tidbits, book reviews, and reviews of unpublished manuscripts (my favorite!).
I'm currently completing my BA in English/Creative Writing at Bridgewater State University. My experience includes writing food reviews for onenewengland.com as well as writing volunteer profiles for the Greater Boston Food Bank. I wrote a novel, Like Steel, that is currently in revision. My hope and dream is to become a published author and to network with others who share that same dream. Let’s connect!
